A Different Kind of Healing for Westport Clients

Westport has long been a community that takes wellness seriously. People here are thoughtful, often well-resourced in their self-care, and rarely strangers to therapy. Many have done significant personal work. And many still find themselves arriving at a point where the usual approaches feel like they are circling the same territory without breaking through.

Psychedelic therapy does something different. It does not replace the work of therapy. It deepens access to it. Ketamine and psilocybin temporarily dissolve the mental structures that keep us defended, allowing people to touch emotional material that might otherwise remain out of reach for years. In the hands of a skilled therapist, this becomes not just an experience but a turning point.

Nikki approaches this work as a psychoanalyst who deeply loves the depth of the human mind, and who sees psychedelics as opening access to ourselves in faster, deeper, and more healing ways than almost anything else she has encountered in decades of clinical practice.

The Relational Heart of This Work

What makes Nikki's practice distinctive is that the medicine alone is never the point. Knowing how to work with it is. Every psychedelic session at this practice is embedded in building genuine trust in the medicine, the facilitator and in the psychedelic process. When there is clinical depth, and a real understanding of who the client is and what they are carrying, a facilitator can help a client prepare for the work in ways that produce more successful and more lasting outcomes. This includes nervous system regulation, setting the right intentions and knowing one’s tools to guide the journey towards desired outcomes.

What surfaces in a ketamine or psilocybin session is only useful if someone is there to help you understand it, metabolize it, and bring it into your actual life. Without that, even profound experiences tend to fade. With it, a single session can shift the trajectory of a person's healing.

Psychedelic Therapy for Couples Near Westport

A significant part of Nikki's practice is working with couples. Couples therapy with psychedelic support is among the most powerful interventions she offers, and it is particularly well suited to couples in Westport who have often already tried conventional couples therapy and found it useful but insufficient.

The reason psychedelics work so well for couples is precisely the reason they work so well for individuals. Our partner choices are never random. The wounds we carry from our earliest relationships always find their way into the present one, shaping how we interpret our partner's words, how we respond under stress, and how close we are able to allow ourselves to get. Ketamine and psilocybin can create the conditions for seeing this clearly, together, in a way that changes things.

Couples Ketamine Package

An 18-hour customizable program designed for couples ready to go deeper than talk therapy has taken them. The package includes three weeks of preparation (virtual or in-person), three 3.5-hour guided ketamine journeys in Greenwich, CT or NYC, and four integration sessions.. Medical intake ($250 per person) required for ketamine prescription clearance.

Couples Psilocybin Package

A 16-hour customizable program for couples seeking a more expansive shared experience. Includes three weeks of preparation, a 6 to 7 hour guided psilocybin journey in Denver, CO, and three weeks of integration. Psilocybin journeys tend to be longer, more visual, and more emotionally immersive than ketamine, and are particularly powerful for couples who feel a deeper kind of disconnection.

Couples talk therapy is also available without a psychedelic component at $400 per 60-minute session.

Individual Psychedelic Therapy Near Westport

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

For individuals, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy is available in-person at Nikki's Greenwich, CT practice and in NYC. Sessions are 3 hours, using legally prescribed sublingual ketamine lozenges, with Nikki present throughout. Each journey is followed by a 45-minute integration conversation. New clients begin with at least two preparation sessions and a virtual medical intake.

Psilocybin Therapy and Integration

Nikki is a licensed Colorado Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitator. Legal psilocybin journeys take place in Denver, CO, with preparation and integration available near Westport or virtually. Psilocybin is particularly suited to clients dealing with grief, existential questions, a desire for profound self-understanding, or a sense that something essential has been lost.

EMDR Trauma Therapy

For clients with significant trauma histories, Nikki integrates EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) into her work. EMDR is an evidence-based approach that helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories that have become stuck in the nervous system. It can be used as a standalone approach or woven into psychedelic-assisted work.

Psychoanalysis and Depth Therapy

Not every client is drawn to or ready for psychedelic work, and not every moment calls for it. Nikki also offers ongoing individual psychotherapy drawing on psychoanalytic and relational approaches, for clients who want depth-oriented work without medicine.

The Process: What to Expect

Many people who reach out to Nikki have never tried psychedelic therapy before and are not entirely sure what to expect. The process is simpler than it might sound.

It begins with a free consultation, a conversation about where you are, what has brought you here, and whether this kind of work makes sense right now. There is no pressure and no commitment involved. Nikki will be honest with you about whether she thinks psychedelic therapy is a good fit and, if so, what it might look like.

If you decide to move forward, the next step is preparation. For ketamine clients, this means at least two sessions to build the therapeutic relationship, clarify intentions, and complete the medical intake. For psilocybin, preparation typically takes three weeks. The medicine journey comes next, followed by integration sessions that help translate what arose into everyday life.

The whole process is a conversation, not a protocol. It moves at the pace of the person, not the schedule.
