Psychedelic Therapy Is Now Available in Fairfield County

For years, people in Fairfield County who wanted psychedelic-assisted therapy had to travel to New York City or beyond. That has changed. Nikki Fall offers clinically rigorous, legally conducted psychedelic therapy from her Greenwich practice, making this work accessible to communities across the county without the barrier of a long commute.

Psychedelic therapy is not fringe medicine. Ketamine is FDA-approved and has been used clinically for decades. Psilocybin has been the subject of significant research at Johns Hopkins, NYU, and other major institutions, demonstrating meaningful outcomes for depression, PTSD, end-of-life anxiety, and addiction. The clinical framework for using these medicines therapeutically has matured considerably. What has been slower to develop is the availability of qualified therapists who can hold this work with the depth and safety it requires.

What Makes Psychedelic Therapy Different from a Ketamine Clinic

Many people who search for ketamine therapy in Fairfield County encounter ketamine clinics: medical settings that administer IV ketamine for depression with minimal or no psychotherapy. These can be helpful for acute symptom relief, but they are fundamentally different from what Nikki offers.

In ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, the medicine is a complement to a deep therapeutic process, not a replacement for it. The psychological work done before and after each session is what allows the experience to become genuinely transformative rather than temporarily relieving. Nikki does not offer medicine sessions without preparation and integration, because the research and her own clinical experience consistently show that the therapeutic container is what makes the difference.

The Modalities

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

KAP uses legally prescribed ketamine lozenges in an in-person therapeutic setting. Sessions are 3 hours, guided by Nikki, and followed by a 45-minute integration conversation. Ketamine enhances neuroplasticity, produces rapid antidepressant effects, and creates a state of mind in which clients can access material that is ordinarily defended against. From $1,000 per session. Available in Greenwich, CT and NYC.

Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy

Nikki is a licensed Colorado Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitator and offers legal psilocybin therapy through journeys conducted in Denver, CO. Preparation and integration sessions are available in Greenwich or virtually. Psilocybin produces a longer and often more expansive experience than ketamine, with particular efficacy for grief, existential distress, and relational healing.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is one of the most evidence-supported treatments for PTSD and trauma. Nikki is EMDRIA-certified and frequently combines EMDR with psychedelic work, as the two approaches complement each other powerfully for clients with a significant trauma history.

Psychoanalysis and IFS

Nikki's foundational clinical orientation is psychoanalytic and relational. She is a trained psychoanalyst and IFS practitioner. These depth-oriented approaches inform every aspect of her work, including how she holds the psychedelic sessions and how she supports clients in understanding what arises.

Is Psychedelic Therapy Right for You?

Psychedelic therapy is not for everyone and not for every moment. It requires a genuine commitment to a therapeutic process, not just the medicine experience itself. It works best for people who are curious about their own inner world and willing to engage with what they find there.

It is particularly well suited for people who feel stuck, who have tried other approaches without lasting results, or who sense that the real material of their suffering lives somewhere beneath the level of conscious thought. If that resonates, a free consultation is the right place to start.

“Healing is a process, always, even with the support of psychedelic medicines. What changes is how quickly we can access the truth of who we are.” Nikki Fall, LCSW
